Here's What We Need in 2019

In 2019, we are looking to fill key coordinator positions for our annual BBQ Cook-Off Fundraiser. While our BBQ comes only once a year, these positions require attention months in advance. We would love to match each coordinator position with someone who excels in "that particular area" and finds the role a natural fit with personality and skills. We need leaders who aren't afraid to step up, step in and keep the momentum going year-round. We also need coordinators and interns year-round!

VOLUNTEERS COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  strong organizational skills

-  natural people-person

-  good with networking

-  experience with google docs or fast learner with new programs

-  ability to find the right fit when matching volunteers with areas of need

CASINO COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  fun & charismatic

-  natural people-person

-  good with prioritizing and last-minute changes

-  excellent with networking & finding table sponsors

-  has a "go big or go home" / "the sky's the limit!" personality

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  works closely with event co-chairs & board of directors

-  experience with marketing, public relations & communications

-  good with networking

-  basic understanding of non-profit management & goals

-  assists Sponsorship Coordinators with finding sponsors and follow-through with corporate exposure

SPONSORSHIPS COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  Experience with corporate leaders

-  strong organizational skills

-  natural "sales person" and believes in our mission

-  EXCELLENT with networking

-  works and plays well with others

-  natural-born leader who has no problems meeting with the "big dogs" of corporate America

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  STRONG organizational skills & spatial intelligence

-  master of lists (creating & maintaining)

-  comfortable with contacting vendors, negotiating cost of needs and donated services

-  good with coordinating schedules

-  works closely with event co-chairs

AUCTION COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  strong organizational skills

-  natural people-person

- great with collaborations & fostering professional relationships

-  quick learner with new programs & technology

-  ability to find & follow-through with donations

VENDORS COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  strong organizational skills

-  natural people-person

-  good with networking & marketing

-  experience with google docs or fast learner with new programs

-  ability to find the right fit when matching vendors with areas of need

-  finds & coordinates new vendors while maintaining relationships with corporate partners

MUSIC & PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Who is this person?

-  loves music & keeping up with local talent

-  familiar with concert production

-  natural people-person

-  good with networking & strong organizational skills

-  ability to play well with others

-  knows & loves our mission & can find the right fit for our market
