Greetings!

We are a grass roots project right here in North Texas, for North Texas. With one of the largest number of physically disabled adults, we need to be building this facility NOW. It takes generous donors to help this mission. Donate big and leave a legacy that you were a part of this from the ground up, or donate small, because it all adds up. We just ask that you please donate your time, your resources and your financial ability so we can move forward with our goals.

Help us build a facility to soar above the wheelchair, a place where hope will live free!

Amanda Hall: Ms. Wheelchair Texas 2011
AmandaHall

Amanda Hall knows what it is like to overcome adversity. After being diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at age 3, Amanda has made it her life's work to help others in similar situations.
"The most honorable thing I could achieve as a disabled adult is to be thought of as an inspiration for other disabled adults and children. That when others come upon an obstacle in their lives, they will have learned through my experiences that you don't have amazing experiences and memories in life by 'playing it safe'," she says.
Today, not only does Amanda work as a Deaf Education Interpreter and as a Founding Executive Board Member for Camp Craig Allen, she has recently added Ms. Wheelchair Texas 2011 to her busy schedule. With Camp Craig Allen as her platform, Amanda will be serving the disabled community across Texas through her title. Please visit our website for a calendar of Amanda's appearances.

BBQ Cook-off
BBQ  BBQ
BBQ
Do you think your BBQ skills have what it takes to smoke the competition? If so, come support a great cause at our BBQ cook-off fundraising event September 9th &10th. Registration is open and we are only taking 55 amateur BBQ teams. There are 15 categories awarded this year and the first seven teams to raise $5,000 in the 'Best Begging' contest get an additional site space and a Private Party Tent next to them for their guests. Please visit our website for the official flyer and additional information.

Don't cook? That's ok, we have many volunteer opportunities for now through the event in September.  Work can be done from home using your own phone and computer so if you have some time to give, we would love to have you!
